The problem
Dorothy sits on the marketing team at Hex, working alongside the content, growth, lifecycle, customer marketing and events teams. She builds in Clay and Claude Code every day, but she says those tools aren't easy for other people to use or share.
-
What they built
An app for the marketing team that pulls in Gong call recordings, Salesforce opportunities and customer issues logged in Pylon, and finds the themes that come up most in customer conversations. It shows speaker quotes, emerging trends, competitor mentions and signals. It then checks those themes against current campaign performance and the content library, and suggests content to match.

So what
What customers say on calls, in deals and in support tickets turns into content ideas in one place. Customer marketing, content, growth and lifecycle each use it for their own work.
Under the hood
For GTM engineers
Built as a data app with Hex's generative app builder, connected to the company's own data (the data warehouse, Salesforce, Slack and other sources) so the app works from complete, governed data. Inputs are Gong calls, Salesforce opportunities and Pylon issues; the app also reads campaign performance data and a content database to produce its content suggestions.
